Park and Ride
The service drops off at Manor Road and is heavily recommended, it costs £10.00 per car (£12 on Friday and Saturday) with a maximum group of 7 people per car.  The locations are:

  1. Kings Park (BH7 7AF) open 9am – 10.45pm Thursday, Friday Saturday & Sunday 9am-7pm
  2. The Littledown Centre (BH7 7DX) open Saturday 9am – 10.45pm
  3. Redhill Park (BH9 2SW) open Friday, Saturday and Sunday from 9am – 10.30pm and Sunday 9am – 7pm
  4. (OVERFLOW ONLY) Bournemouth Hospital (BH7 7DW) open Saturday 9am – 10:45 and Sunday 9am – 7pm.

Park and walk:
There are car parks on the outskirts of Bournemouth and in the town centre – visit more details on car and motorcycle parking.

Bus or bike:
If people live locally, buses run to the town centre every five minutes, or they could cycle in. For local bus timetables visit: and

Coach or train:
The coach and train station is just a short distance from the festival site, with buses every five minutes and the festival site itself is easily accessible by bike or foot.
Coach and large vehicle parking is available at Queens Road car park, BH2 6BE

Land Train:
The land train will not be operational during the event.

BBC Radio Solent (96.1fm) is Bournemouth Air Festival’s traffic and travel provider for up to date travel information throughout the festival.

Disabled parking:
Designated Town Centre parking has been allocated for disabled badge holders ONLY at the following locations, all are AA signposted:

Monkey Island for Disabled Blue Badge holders, 45 marked bays, 35 unmarked bays.  These will be clearly signed and marshalled. Only vehicles with a blue badge will be given access through the road closure at Manor Road to access this car park.

The Overstrand car park – 70 spaces                       Winter Gardens car park – 250 spaces

There will be three designated disabled drop-off/ pick up points identified for blue badge holders.  These will be the bottom of Sea Road, Gervis Road and Westover Road.
